Talʻat al-Dawlah, daughter of Nadim al-Saltanah and wife of Haji ʻAliriza Khan, talks about the hardships she faced after her husband's death. She describes how agents looted her house and seized fifty thousand tumans worth of property that Haji ʻAliriza Khan had transferred to their daughter, Muhtaram, before passing away.
